Schwinn Free Wheeler 2 Double Swivel Wheel Jogging Stroller Reviews

Review Summary: Better than expected
After researching strollers for the entire third trimester of my pregnancy, I purchased this jogger. My firstborn is 37" tall and 32 pounds.
My favorite features:
1. Seats recline far enough back to accomodate my 7 pound newborn (though I'm sure this isn't recommended by the manufacturer or by Amazon, my newborn lays down very comfortably when we take short walks...she sleeps the whole time, even over little bumps and such) and sit far enough forward so that my toddler can see around him just fine.
2. Storage: this offers loads of storage...behind each seat, at the handlebar, under the seats, elastic cup holders in each seat. So far, it's been more storage space than we have needed.
3. Foot brake is easy to engage and disengage, and holds the stroller very securely, even on a hill.
4. Cushioned seats: so soft! My toddler is very comfortable, happy to hop in and ride for as long as I want to push.
5. Lightweight, effortless to manuever. I loaded this in my car 1 week after I had my baby without any problem. It's also so simple to pull out of the car and snap together again. This stroller takes virtually no effort to push, and it's 0 degree turn radius is dreamy.
6. Sunshade: huge, versatile, effective.
I will be using this stroller for walks to the park, walks on trails in the woods, trips to fairs and festivals and eventually (give me a couple of months) to jog, at which point the locking front wheel will be a necessity. I had considered a Sit 'n' Stand but needed something more "all-terrain". In my opinion, this stroller has it all and I'm thrilled that after all of the research I did, I made the right choice!

Review Summary: Not terrible
I've had this stroller for about 6 weeks. I have a 7 month old and a 2.5 year old. This is the first jogging stroller I've owned. I wanted a stroller primarily for walking (not running) around the neighborhood. This stroller gets the job done, but has a few cons.
Cons
*Doesn't latch when collapsed. I used a tip from a previous reviewer and purchased a small dog collar to keep the stroller closed when folded, but it's still a con for me.
*In order to get it to fold as flat as possible, you need to remove all three wheels. Not hard to do, but when you're juggling two kids and trying to get out of the house quickly it's kind of a pain to put the wheels back on each time.
*Too bulky with the wheels on for the trunk of my car (Mercury Sable). I'm fairly petite (5 feet) and can't see myself struggling with putting the wheels back on in a parking lot, while the kids wait in the car.
*It's pretty heavy, which is probably a characteristic of all joggers, but between the bulk and the weight and my lack of height, I have a hard time lugging this thing around.
*5-point harness is tricky to adjust. I have to re-adjust it each time in order to get the kids in and out of the straps. Also, not that big of a deal, but when you have to adjust both kids in and out it can become a hassle. I like the harness on my Graco Metrolite a lot better.
Pros
*Parent tray holds cell phone, keys, water bottle easily.
*Sun shade is quite large. However, it won't hold it's position if you unsnap it and pull it forward more to block the sun, even after tightening the screws.
*Drives smoothly.
*Kids seem comfortable, even with the slight recline in the seats.
*Seat cushions are easily removable and washable.
All in all, this is a decent stroller. However, if you want something for quick trips to the mall, I'd go with an umbrella stroller. I'm waiting for a good deal on a Maclaren Twin Triumph.

Review Summary: good stroller
Having tried different strollers for all different events, this stroller has been the best for us. I love this stroller. The kids do sit at a funny angle, but it doesn't seem to bother them in the least. They can almost lay flat and they sit up and see out which is their favorite feature. Most important the twins really like this stroller best of all. We like the swivel wheel, but keep it locked in place most of the time. Easy to collapse and pick up. Favorite feature as parents is the large canope. It keeps the sun off them most of the day. By far has been the best purchase we have made and the price was a definite plus.
