We are expecting twins in 2 months or so and I have been on the quest for the perfect stroller. Truthfully while there are a lot of TANDEM strollers out there there aren't a lot of TWIN strollers. One kid almost always gets shafted and they work best for an older and younger kid, not twins.

With the two Graco tandems, the kid in front can't recline all the way - not good for two kids the same age who will both be in the "napping in the stroller" phase at the same time. You're forced to use the buckets with these early on and I don't want to have to use a bucket to put an infant in the stroller. I hate the snack tray on the front of the glider (has to be popped off, not swung open) and I hate how the back kid in the Quattro seems squished and fenced in.

Lack of recline for front kid carries on across many brands of tandems. Combi, Safety 1st, PP Tender, etc.

The Kolcraft Contours approximates perfection... seats are equal, kids can recline...

Do you want a dependable double stroller that you can count on to be usable when you are out and about with your children? DO NOT BUY A DUETTE!! If you enjoy continual service problems, paying shipping and handling for parts that need to be replaced soon after you get your overpriced stroller and something that is so big and heavy that you need a helper to get it in and out of the van - well, then, the duette might be for you! Just be sure to buy a back up stroller so that you can still go places while you are waiting for your replacement parts!!!! Luckily, this is my third double stroller since we have many children. The others (Graco duos) lasted years and are still usable. The premium expensive one has been a huge waste of money and a source of continual frustration. Be warned!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best double ever!, October 5, 2008

This stroller is awesome! I use it for my 7 month old and my almost 4 year old and he still fits just fine. I've also had him and my almost 5 year old sit in it together when I didn't have the baby with me and they both love being able to recline at the same time to rest on a big shopping trip. And the leg rests actually accommodate older kids so that they still have a place to put there feet. All the other double's that we tried first of all they didn't work for older kids and 2nd they didn't have a place for the feet without them raising there legs way up.

The steering wheel is amazing as well! There is not a single double stroller on the market that you can easily steer one handed EXCEPT the Duette. It makes shopping so much easier when you have a stroller that is so much easier to steer.

We love how the infant seat snaps on as well too. Sometimes right in the middle of the store we will swap the seats around because my son will decide that he wants to...
