The Bugaboo Bee is a compact, lightweight and exceptionally well-designed stroller built to keep baby safe and comfortable on urban adventures.

Its reversible ergonomic seat with five-point harness adjusts to four different recline positions and accommodates infants and toddlers up to 37 pounds.

The ergonomic seat and 5-point harness of the Bugaboo Bee are well padded for your child's comfort.

The compact design of the Bugaboo Bee emphasizes convenience and portability over the all-terrain capability of the Bugaboo Cameleon.

It is the most compact Bugaboo stroller and is a complete infant to toddler travel system.

It takes some of the most impressive features of the other Bugaboos and puts them in a more compact and lightweight stroller The 'tight and light' Bugaboo Bee weighs only 17 lbs, making it simple and painless to carry up steps or toss into the trunk of your car.

The Bugaboo Bee stroller folds up quickly with just two hands by releasing the fold levers and lifting the stroller.

It unfolds with just a kick.

The comfortable seat of the Bugaboo Bee is reversible, so your child can face toward you or away, and the range of stylish accessories adds value while accentuating this portable baby stroller's versatility.

The 4.2 gallon underside basket gives you plenty of storage space, and the Bugaboo Bee's narrow width (just 20") makes it easy to slide through even the tightest spaces.

Every Bugaboo Bee comes with a deluxe sun canopy in the color of your choice, providing ample shade on sunny days.

There's also a great looking raincover (included) that will keep the elements at bay on not so beautiful days.

Bugaboo also wants parents to know how to use and fix their product by including a maintenance kit and instructional DVD on how the easy to use stroller works.

This stroller sticks to Bugaboo's expectations of stellar performance.

Its six foam filled wheels have their own independent suspension that steer easily even when pushing the device even with only one hand.

The height adjustable handlebar and rear parking brake make starting and stopping the Bee easy for mom and dad.

The Bugaboo Bee provides a safe and comfortable place for your baby or toddler up to 37.5 lbs to ride in style, safety and comfort.

Review Summary: DO NOT BUY THE BUGABOO BEE!!!
Do not buy a Bugaboo Bee! Buy any other product, but not the Bee!

In October of 2007, we pre-ordered the Bugaboo Bee. Our daughter was born in November of 2007. She was not a big baby, in fact, she was on the small side. Immediately, we had problems with the brake, it worked only occasionally. The rain cover ripped within a couple months. Less than six months after our daughter first used the Bee, the frame broke.

For three weeks, we called Bugaboo and were not able to get in touch with anyone. I left messages on any extension I could seeking out help. Finally, we got someone on the phone. We explained our frame broke and the brake didn't work. The service agent was rude, and finally agreed to send us a new frame (it was within warranty), if we emailed them pictures. We did.

A few weeks later, we received a new frame. The brake still didn't work unless I kicked it. Another nine months later, we received a replacement part for the brake (apparently enough people complained about the brake), but it still didn't work until we oiled it up. Two more rain covers later, both ripped, we gave on the rain covers.

Six months ago, the first wheel ripped apart. We bought a new one from [...]. Two and a half months ago the second wheel ripped. And the frame of the sun canopy snapped, so the shade doesn't go up properly. We ordered another wheel from [...]. Two months later, it has still not arrived because it's been out of stock. The manager at [...] told me she would send me a used wheel to get by on. That was two weeks ago and it hasn't arrived. We just received a email telling us the new wheel we ordered is still out of stock... indefinitely. So now, we can't use the $500 stroller that never worked well anyway.

If you MUST buy Bugaboo, at least don't buy the Bee.

Review Summary: Not worth the money
I have a son who is now 20 months. This stroller, which is suppose to hold a child up to 40lbs, is the most uncomfortable thing for him. He is not even 2 and we have had several problems with it. We had the stroller for 3 months and there was a massive issue with the break. Bugaboo sent around a fix for the faulty break. Since then, the handle which extends, has broken completely on one side so it gets stuck constantly. The cushions on the side of the seat are so bulky and turn inward that it almost squishes the child. If you have a normal size child they kid looks almost uncomfortable since he is wedged in this seat. Our son is tall for his age, but at 32" apparently you are too tall for the shade to be pulled over. The seat does not come up completely, its always at a bit of an incline, so if the child does not want to sit back they lose the support of the seat.

All and all I think the MaClaren is a better value. This stroller costs double the MacLaren with few benefits. If i had a maclaren I would atleast be able to still use it, instead I need to purchase another stroller for my not even 2 year old. Do not waste your money.

Review Summary: Very Dangerous Stroller - Buyer Beware
Beware--the brakes are unreliable and the customer service is terrible! When my daughter was nine weeks old, we were waiting at the top of the staircase in front of my Brooklyn home, for my son's bus. I had the brake engaged, and my daughter in the stroller, next to me. Just as the bus pulled up, the stroller suddenly lurched forward, moving too fast for me grab it, and I was forced to watch her tumble down the cement staircase, imagining the worst. When it reached the ground, the brakes still appeared to be engaged! Since then, the brakes are completely inconsistent, sometimes locking the stroller in place, sometimes only one side locks, and other times the brakes do not work at all.
When I contacted Bugaboo, the customer service people rudely told me that it was my fault, since I should have been wearing the wrist strap! They finally connected me to the head of Northeast customer service, Kyle, who apologized and assured me that he would replace the entire stroller. This was months ago, and after leaving him message after message, and receiving no response, I called the general customer service line again. A representative there checked the notes that Kyle made, which apparently said that I told them that I was "unsure if the brakes were engaged," (a COMPLETE lie!) and made no mention of Kyle's promise of a new stroller! When I told him that I had witnesses who could attest to the fact that that the breaks were most definitely engaged, he offered me a new chassis. I hope this serves as a warning to anyone thinking that this is a safe product for their newborn, or any child.
